It’s hard to believe we’re already planning for the 2025–2026 school year! We are so thankful to have you as part of The Children’s House Montessori School community. Your partnership means the world to us as we continue to support each child’s growth, curiosity, and love of learning in a nurturing Montessori environment.

Looking Ahead—Exciting Things to Come

We’re thrilled about what lies ahead. Our journey toward full AMS accreditation remains a big part of our future. As an AMS Verified school, we’re well on our way to completing this process in the next 1–2 years. Achieving this milestone will bring us a 6-star Better Beginnings rating, reflecting the high standards we hold in providing an exceptional Montessori experience.

This past year, we also reopened our elementary classroom and are accepting 1st–3rd grade students for 2025–2026. As part of this expansion, we are now an approved Education Freedom Account (EFA) provider through the Arkansas Department of Education. More information about EFA eligibility and application will be included in the attached insert.

To hold your child’s spot for the upcoming year, just complete and return the attached re-enrollment form by the date listed on the form. Your timely response helps us plan staffing and classrooms, making sure every child has the best experience possible.

Expanded Elementary Program & EFA Funds — What You Need to Know

We’re excited to share that The Children’s House Montessori School is now an approved Education Freedom Account (EFA) provider through the Arkansas Department of Education!

This means that families of children entering Kindergarten (K5) through 3rd grade may now be eligible to receive state funding toward tuition, thanks to the LEARNS Act. This opportunity helps make a high-quality Montessori education more accessible and affordable for families seeking a nurturing, individualized approach to learning.

A few important notes:

EFA funds are available to all Arkansas families with children entering grades K5–12, regardless of prior public school attendance.

Parents must apply directly through the Arkansas Department of Education to receive EFA funds.

If approved, these funds can be applied toward your child’s tuition and/or fees at The Children’s House Montessori School.

If your child will be entering Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, or 3rd grade in the 2025–2026 school year and you’re interested in learning more about this opportunity, we encourage you to explore the application process soon. FEE SCHEDULE SCHOOL YEAR 2025-2026

Effective June 1, 2025

Children’s House Montessori School operates year-round, with School-Year programming (September–May) and Summer School (June–August).

School Hours

Full Day Classes: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Half Day Classes (Primary only): 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Before School Care: 7:00 – 8:15 AM
After School Care: 2:45 – 5:30 PM

Tuition (5 Days/Week)

All tuition is billed monthly and is non-refundable.

- An additional $35 late fee will be charged if tuition is not paid by the 15th.
- Tuition is non-refundable and due in full regardless of school holidays or absences.

If tuition is not paid in full by the end of the month, families may be asked to make alternate arrangements until the account is brought current.

- The $125 Registration Fee is due at re-enrollment for current students and at the time of enrollment for new students. This fee secures your child’s place for the upcoming school year and is non-refundable.

- The following annual fees are also non-refundable and must be paid before the start of the school year: • Supply Fee – $350
• Building Fee – $200 per child
• PTO Fee – $50 per family

- The Summer Registration Fee – $125 per child – is charged each spring when a family chooses to register their child for the Summer School program. It must be paid in full before summer enrollment is confirmed.

Withdrawals
A 30-day written notice is required if a family chooses to withdraw from the school year program. Tuition will still be due during the withdrawal notice period.

Fundraising Requirement
Each family participates in our annual Poinsettia Fundraiser. Families who choose not to participate may instead make a $60 donation to the school.
(This fundraiser is separate from PTO-sponsored events.)

State Child Care Assistance Vouchers
Families who have been approved for Arkansas State Child Care Assistance Vouchers will have all school-related fees waived, in accordance with state regulations. This includes, but is not limited to, the registration fee, supply fee, building fee, PTO fee, and/or summer registration fee. Monthly tuition will be billed directly to the state. Families are still responsible for lunch and milk fees, as these cannot be billed to the state and are not subject to waiver. These charges must be paid monthly in accordance with the payment policies outlined in this contract. In the event that a child's voucher expires or becomes inactive prior to the end of the school year or summer term, the parent or guardian will be responsible for: Prorated school fees (based on the remaining term after voucher expiration), and Monthly tuition, beginning the first day after voucher expiration and continuing through the end of the current term, or until voucher coverage resumes. If the voucher is expected to renew within three (3) weeks of its expiration, families will be billed at a per diem rate for tuition. If renewal will take longer or is not anticipated, tuition will be billed monthly, with payment due on the day coverage lapses and again on the 1st of each subsequent month. It is the parent/guardian's responsibility to monitor the status of their voucher and to notify the school immediately of any changes to eligibility or coverage dates.
