PTO Update
Parents, below are a few items that we wanted to bring to your attention. If you have questions regarding any of this please contact myself or one of the other officers. Contact information can be found on the website www.chmlr.org.
- PTO dues – Due to many of you contributing in the fall, the money that we’ve raised from the silent auction and the economy, we are not asking for spring dues as originally requested. We do appreciate those that did contribute; some of you gave above and beyond the amount requested. Thank you all!
- Spring Open House – Many of you have expressed a desire to learn more about the wonderful learning that takes place at our school. For this reason and the fact that we’ve had new parents start since our fall open house, we have decided to host a spring open house. This will take place at our next PTO meeting on March 10th. The agenda meeting will be held the first 10-15 minutes, the remaining 45 minutes is reserved for the open house. Light refreshments will be served.
- Web site – Please be sure to check the Web site, www.chmlr.org, and sign up to receive alerts when items are posted. Thanks to Thomas Wallace, we are now able to sign up to receive feeds when the Web site is updated.
- Easter Picnic and Egg Hunt – Please mark your calendars for our annual Easter picnic and egg hunt. The date is April 4th, time to be announced.
- Annual Spring Clean-up – On April 18th we will have our annual spring clean-up day from 9 a.m. to noon. Plans are in the works to install fencing in the front of the building, paint and do some other work on the boat, as well as other clean-up projects. Please plan to join us and bring your outside tools and handy person expertise.
